In a spirit of unity and mission, the Catholic Bishops of Alberta, the Northwest Territories, and Yukon have issued a pastoral letter for Catholic Education Week.

This year the Bishops have given us Romans 15:13: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Filled with Joy and Peace, Alive in the Spirit.

The Bishops’ Letter—produced in partnership between GrACE and the Council of Catholic School Superintendents of Alberta (CCSSA)—offers a unified pastoral voice that inspires, guides, and strengthens our shared mission. It affirms the constitutional and spiritual foundations of Catholic education, calls for bold witness in challenging times, and expresses deep gratitude to all who serve in this mission.
